‘Spurs’ Shoot-Out Heartbreak’

Host Ricky Sacks was joined by Actors TJ Ramini, Darren Hart and Jim Via Oh So Spurs as our first-ever appearance in the UEFA Super Cup ended in a heartbreaking penalty shootout defeat to Paris Saint-Germain after a dramatic night in Italy on Wednesday.

In what was Thomas Frank’s first competitive game as our Head Coach, we looked like we were going to add more silverware to the Europa League trophy we won three months ago, leading the Champions League winners 2-0 with five minutes to go.

A goal in each half from defenders Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero – leading the team out after being appointed club captain – coupled with an outstanding display put us in control at the Stadio Friuli, home of Udinese. But PSG dug deep and levelled with two late goals, Kang-In Lee scoring with five minutes left before Goncalo Ramos equalised in the 94th minute. The game went straight to penalties and once again we led 2-0, but we couldn’t hold onto our advantage again and ended up losing 4-3 on spot-kicks.

The French champions only returned to training recently having reached the FIFA Club World Cup Final during the summer, but fielded eight of the starting 11 that began the Champions League Final against Internazionale, which they won 5-0. However, we produced a superb performance. All over the pitch we were excellent, defensively sound, snapping into tackles and closing up the gaps in midfield and dangerous in attack, while the pressing of the team in all areas was outstanding, not allowing PSG to get into their stride until the final moments when they dragged themselves back into the contest to force the shootout.

‘Eze Talks Underway x Savinho Negotiations On-Going’

Host Ricky Sacks is joined by Billie T, Vass Koni and Ash as the panel discuss the latest developments of Spurs in the transfer window.

Tottenham fans woke up to the news this morning that the Lilywhites are in talks with Crystal Palace over a deal for Eberechi Eze.

According to some sources, Spurs now know exactly what it would take to sign Eze while their North London rivals, Arsenal, are hesitating to substantiate their interest in the 27-year-old.

This development comes on the back of multiple outlets suggesting over the last two days that Tottenham are also locked in negotiations with Manchester City for Savinho.

While it is clear that the North Londoners have not reached an agreement over the transfer of either player, Spurs fans will be encouraged by what is being reported about the duo’s intentions.

According to reports, Eze is keen on completing a move to Tottenham if the club can agree a fee with Crystal Palace.Meanwhile, sources from Brazil have claimed that Savinho has already said ‘yes’ to Spurs as he is keen to play regular football ahead of next summer’s World Cup.

‘Savinho Talks x Eze Interest Re-Ignites’

Host Ricky Sacks is joined by Kish via Lilywhite Lab as we discuss the latest developments in Spurs’ summer transfer window as Tottenham have approached Manchester City about signing Savinho, with talks under way between the two Champions League clubs. There are widespread reports that a fee of around £43m (€50m) has been discussed in these talks. The figure would need to be higher than that for City to consider selling the 21-year-old.

Tottenham may still bid for Eberechi Eze this summer despite also showing interest in Manchester City winger Savinho. Eze has a release clause of about £68million in his contract although there have been suggestions that this agreement was due to expire at some time in August, leaving Crystal Palace free to set their own valuation. The 27-year-old has two more years left on his contract at Selhurst Park but Palace anticipate offers before the window closes.

‘Heung-Min Son – The Final Farewell’

Host Ricky Sacks and Jason McGovern are joined by South Korean Journalist Sungmo Lee as we reflect on Sonny’s legacy at the club.

Son arrived at Tottenham Hotspur a decade ago – in August, 2015 – and has since established himself as one of the Club’s all-time greats. The South Korea international went on to make 454 appearances in Lilywhite, scoring 173 goals, the fifth-highest tally in our history.

Appointed captain in 2023, there have been countless memorable moments for Sonny on the pitch during his decade at the Club. In April, 2019, he etched his name into the history books with the first official goal at the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and later that same season was an integral member of the first Spurs side to reach a Champions League final, scoring important goals in the round of 16 and quarter-final.

Sonny won the FIFA Puskas Award in 2020 for an extraordinary solo goal against Burnley, which saw him dribble the length of the pitch before finding the net. Both a scorer of great goals and a great goalscorer, he added to his personal accolades in 2021/22, receiving the Premier League Golden Boot for his 23-goal return in the division.

During his time at the Club, Sonny also became the highest-scoring Asian player in Premier League history and, in addition to leading South Korea to Asian Games success in 2018, has been named ‘Best Footballer in Asia’ a record nine times.

Sonny’s greatest achievement in our colours came in May, 2025, as he led the Club to UEFA Europa League glory in Bilbao. By doing so, he wrote his name into Spurs folklore, becoming one of 13 captains in our history to lift a major trophy.

‘Bayern Provide Reality Check’

Host Ricky Sacks is joined by Jason McGovern, TJ Ramini and Marlon as our final pre-season friendly of this summer ended in defeat in Germany as Bayern Munich ran out 4-0 winners with our former striker Harry Kane among their goalscorers on Thursday evening.

Thomas Frank had yet to suffer a loss since his appointment as Head Coach, but that came to an end in the Telekom Cup at the Allianz Arena after Kane opened the scoring early on before second-half goals from Kingsley Coman, Lennart Karl and Jonah Kusi-Asare – the latter both teenagers who scored with fine curling efforts.

‘Gary Neville Meets Daniel Levy | The Interview Reviewed’

Host Ricky Sacks is joined by Billie T from Change For Spurs and Connor (@Levynomics1882) as we reflect on Gary Neville sitting down with the Chairman of Tottenham Hotspur, Daniel Levy and anything we learnt from the interview.

From a Tottenham fan point of view some may have felt it was an opportunity missed to ask Levy the hard questions.

From a governance perspective you could say it was pretty interesting, Levy opened up about the challenges of running a club in the Premer League, the impact of recent regulatory changes and his thoughts on the future of football.

‘Son Farewell x Palhinha Signs’

Host Ricky Sacks is joined by Richard Cracknell, Jaon McGovern and Marlon as our visit to Asia ended in in a 1-1 draw with Newcastle United on an emotional evening for skipper Heung-Min Son, appearing in his hometown just a day after announcing his intention to leave the Club.

Following Thursday’s defeat of Arsenal in Hong Kong, we rounded off this year’s pre-season tour with a competitive clash against the Magpies in Seoul, South Korea, with Brennan Johnson’s early goal cancelled out by Harvey Barnes in the Coupang Play Series.

Following his announcement on Saturday, Son was selected to start by new Head Coach Thomas Frank and wore the armband at a venue he knows so well as captain of his country, with his substitution from the pitch in the 64th minute a poignant moment.

Unfortunately though, James Maddison left the pitch on a stretcher in the closing stages after pulling up with no-one around him, clearly in distress.

Spurs also announced the signing of João Palhinha on loan from FC Bayern, subject to international clearance and work permit.

The 30-year-old Portugal international joins the Club on loan until the end of the 2025/26 season with an option to make the move permanent next summer.

‘Sarr Stunner Wins Historic Derby’

Host Richard Cracknell is joined by Jason McGovern, George Achillea and Marlon as Pape Matar Sarr scored a magical goal to give us victory in the first-ever north London derby to be played on international soil as we kicked off our Asia Tour in style on Thursday.

The midfielder struck from close to the half-way line with a superb drilled shot just before half-time at the Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong, which proved to be the only goal of the game as Thomas Frank’s first game against Arsenal as our Head Coach ended in a fine win and continued our unbeaten pre-season campaign.
